Natural Gas

Weirton Frontier Crossings is served by robust natural gas infrastructure capable of supporting advanced manufacturing, energy, data center, and other high-volume industrial users. The site benefits from access to both local distribution service and interstate transmission infrastructure, providing flexibility and reliability for a wide range of operational requirements.

Distribution Natural Gas

Local distribution service is provided by Mountaineer Gas Company.

• Dedicated 12-inch steel natural gas main, meter, and regulating station serving the site
• Capacity exceeding 2,000 MCF/hr
• Maximum allowable operating pressure (MAOP) of 210 psig
• Additional 8-inch medium-pressure gas main adjacent to the site

Transmission Natural Gas

The site is also served by interstate transmission infrastructure operated by TC Energy.

Water

Weirton Frontier Crossings is served by abundant public and private water resources capable of supporting a wide range of industrial, manufacturing, energy, and technology users. The site’s location along the Ohio River provides both reliable potable water service and access to high-volume raw water supplies for industrial applications.

Public Water

Public potable water is provided by the City of Weirton and is available at the site through an existing 12-inch water main located at the property boundary.

• Total water treatment capacity: 8.0 MGD
• Available excess capacity: 4.4 MGD
• 12-inch public water line at site border
• Reliable municipal water service for industrial and commercial users

The City of Weirton has secured more than $44 million in federal funding to modernize and expand its water and wastewater infrastructure. Planned improvements will double the City’s potable water production capacity and wastewater treatment capacity, creating significant additional utility capacity to support future industrial growth and large-scale development projects.

Private / Industrial Water

For users requiring large-volume process water, the site also benefits from direct access to the Ohio River.

Existing sanitary sewer infrastructure is located throughout the site and is capable of supporting a wide range of wastewater demands.

• 14-inch to 30-inch sanitary sewer lines located at the property boundary

• Available excess treatment capacity: 4.6 MGD

The City of Weirton has secured more than $44 million in federal funding to modernize and expand its water and wastewater infrastructure. Planned improvements will double both potable water production and wastewater treatment capacity, significantly increasing available utility capacity and supporting future industrial growth throughout the community.

With existing excess treatment capacity, large-diameter sewer infrastructure, and planned system expansions already funded, Weirton Frontier Crossings is well positioned to accommodate both current development opportunities and future large-scale industrial investment.

Industrial Gas

Transmission Nitrogen (Messer Gas)

• This system operates at 400 psig MAOP and has significant capacity available. This is a 12″ steel transmission line.
