• Provides direct access to Parcel A and Parcel C, supporting future industrial, manufacturing, logistics, and technology development.
• Functions as the City of Weirton’s industrial bypass route, improving freight mobility and reducing truck traffic on local roadways.
• Creates the most direct route between Weirton Frontier Crossings and U.S. Route 22, providing efficient access to regional and interstate highway networks.

• Approximately 4,000+ linear feet of new industrial access roadway extending north from the existing roadway network to Parcels I and J, with additional roadway construction on Browns Island.
• Provides critical access to Browns Island and Parcels L and M, unlocking more than 240 acres of flat, development-ready industrial land for future investment.
• Includes construction of a new railroad crossing, with $1 million in funding already awarded through the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA).
• Includes planned improvements to the Browns Island Main Channel Bridge, enhancing vehicle access, freight mobility, and long-term development potential for the island.
• West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH) to assume ownership and maintenance responsibilities for the roadway and bridge infrastructure upon completion, ensuring long-term public access and infrastructure stewardship.
